We hired a car for one day in London at short notice. We provided a mobile number at the time of booking. AutoEurope could not fulfil the hire, but did not bother to phone us to let us know. AutoEurope are just a broker and actually subcontracted the hire to Alamo, who were using a National car rental outlet. This caused numerous problems as no car was available. They shoudl have phoned us. Both I and the car hire company rep had to call AutoEurope numerous times to sort something out. AutoEurope were wholly unprofessional and rude. They then overcharged us and refused to provide a refund. I would rather pay slightly more and deal direct with the car hire company than deal with these cowboy brokers! Steer clear.
